On My Feet

 

Today has been a rough one, Lord,

But I’m still on my feet.

Though that may not be much to claim,

It’s better than defeat.

Tomorrow looms with its own woes

And worries by the score,

But I will rest tonight in peace

Despite what lies in store.

For You, who formed me with a word,

Hold me safe in Your hand.

Despite what I’ve been through today,

You are still in command!

Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
