Psalm 138: 6-7

 

Psalm 138: 6-7

Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life.

Though I walk through a troubled world,

I walk this path with You.

I may not come through life unscathed,

But I know I’ll come through.

And when I reach the other side

Of all life holds for me,

I’ll walk into eternity

Knowing it’s You I’ll see.

So, lead me through the shadowed vale

Or up the mountain’s peak.

The world may seek to do me harm,

But You are all I seek!
