About The Light

They say, when you take in the view,

It’s all about the light;
It marks the shift from drab, dull hues
To colors burnished bright.
 
I do not doubt the obvious,
It is about The Light,
For I have seen that in my life
And can confirm that’s right.
 
I wandered in a darkened world,
And lingered in twilight,
Until my breath drew still with awe
At the hues of The Light.
 
I turned my face away from dusk,
I left behind the night,
And I can tell you, from my heart,
It’s all about The Light!
 
John 8:12
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
