Stand Firm In The Lord

Stand firm within the world’s chaos,
Keeping your faith in Him
Who formed the earth, mountains to sea,
The heavens, rim to rim.
 
Stand not in your own arrogance,
But secure in the Lord,
For each lost soul who calls His name
By His grace is restored.
 
Do not rely on your insights,
What you hold to be true,
But seek His counsel, walk His path,
And He will walk in you.
 
The world will try to lure you back
To live within its shame,
But those who stand firm in His Word
May call upon His name.
 
For He is Lord, the Creator,
And we are His children.
There’s no other, nor will there be,
Nor has there ever been.
 
Stand firm, then, in His holy name,
Hold fast to Him alone,
Until we come at last to stand
In peace before His throne.
