In You Alone

I give this night to You, Oh Lord,
And to the peace You bring.
Though I have worries wide and deep,
In You, my heart will sing.
 
Thank You for giving me today,
And for this night to rest.
Help me to rise tomorrow with
The faith to meet the test.
 
Too often I go through each day
With this world on my mind,
Only to realize, at last,
You’re what I need to find.
 
This time of stillness, gentle peace,
Is what I treasure most.
Then I can rise up, rejoicing.
In You, oh Lord, I boast.
