We turn our faces to the Lord
And lift to Him our praise.
His is the Light upon the path
We follow all our days.
We hold onto His Word
And walk by faith into the storm.
With spirit undeterred.
He knows our hopes and fears,
And He will keep watch over us
Through laughter and through tears.
This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves
true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
