Being Still in You

 

Let me hide within Your silence,
Resting in your perfect peace.
Lord, I look to You for solace
For my soul’s reprieve, release.
 
In the chaos of the world’s pace
I have found no hope or ease.
In You, Lord, I find my respite,
Soft as summer’s gentle breeze.
 
In Your stillness, in Your mercy
I can feel my own peace grow.
Understanding what You told me,
Being still in You, I know.
