In Stillness

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In stillness I will wait for You

Until I hear Your voice.

In that moment my heart will sing

And my soul will rejoice.

 

I cannot always hear You speak,

Or feel You by my side,

Until I’ve stepped out of the noise

In which I daily bide.

 

But when I slip off by myself

And let Your stillness in,

I hear You call me by my name,

And I’m at peace again.
