I thought I understood the grace

You give abundantly,

But them You gave me even more,

Most unexpectedly.

 

It wasn’t something all that big

By the standards of man,

But it brought my old heart to tears,

As only Your grace can.

 

Lord, thank You for the boundless love

That You showed me today,

By sending strangers past my desk

Who blessed me on their way.
