Heaven's Son

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Until I step through heaven’s door

And see His face at last,

I’ll hold onto the promises

That He made in the past.

 

The Word that guides me through this life

Is stronger than the world.

That Word will one day lead me home,

His majesty unfurled.

 

The Word’s my shepherd, I’m His lamb,

He guides me through each day,

And He will always rescue me

When I have gone astray.

 

The Word has said I shall be saved,

And that, indeed, He’s done.

He cleansed my soul and called my name,

I praise Him, Heaven’s Son!

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
