Time With You

 

The day has been a great mixture

Of peace and frustration.

So many things fell into place

While more are left undone.

But right now all I really want

Is an hour or two

To sit and watch the passing world

And have a chat with You.

The week will start up soon enough

With little time to spare,

So come and sit down with me, Lord.

I’ve pulled You up a chair!
