The Faith to Grow

I almost walked right by it there
Where it should not have grown.
It had no business standing tall,
That much it should have known.

It never should have found its way
Into the light at all,
A flower does not grow out of
A solid concrete wall.

What kind of faith must it require
To rise up to the sun
When all the world believes you can’t
Do that which must be done?

It took less than a mustard seed
For that flower to rise,
It only took a faithful heart
Longing to see Your skies!

Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
