On The Long Trail - Re-Posted

Some people find their way with ease
Through all life’s winding ways,
They move forward along the path
With an unswerving gaze.

While others are more hesitant,
They pause to think it through.
Checking to see which way to turn,
Unsure of what to do.

They want to walk upon His path,
But life gets in their way
And they are hesitant at times,
Fearing they’ll go astray.

They forget that He’s called their name
And carved them on His hand,
He will not let them go astray
In a dark, barren land.

Yet, though their faith may waiver some,
His love will never fail
And He will keep an eye on them,
However long their trail.

Isaiah 49: 10 & 16
They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them.
He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.

See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
