I
could not see the little bird
That
feasted on the seed
My
view was blocked by other things
But
it was there, indeed.
I
heard it sing, just out of view,
And
though obscured from sight
I
saw its shadow on the fence
A
dark form in the light.
That
small bird and its shadow there
Reminded
me of this,
Though
You’re not in my line of sight
You
awfully hard to miss.
I
see Your shadow in my life,
In
everything I do,
And,
though my view may be obscured,
I
still see signs of You.
2
Corinthians 4:18
So
we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen
is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal
