I looked for You when I was lost,

I searched most everywhere.
And yet, however hard I looked,
It seemed You were not there.
As I was about to give up,
Hopeless in my despair,
I looked once more, through eyes of faith,
And discovered You there.

I finally saw the truth of things,
I came to understand
I had no need to look for you…
You held me in Your hand.
