Rejoice Each Day

I know today may well be rough,

In truth, there is no easy way.
Yet God made each day what it is…
Rejoice and be glad in the day.

Don’t let the day take hope from you.
Before you start take time to pray,
Then step out with a faithful heart…
Rejoice and be glad in the day.

Thus, when you come to every snag,

You’ll have the strength you need to say
I’m a child of the Most High God…
Rejoice and be glad in the day.

Though you may fall along the path
Or find that you have gone astray,
Your faith and joy will see you through…
Rejoice and be glad in the day.

God has given this day to you,
Though it will soon pass away.
Make it a tribute to The Lord!
Rejoice and be glad in the day!
