I hear the sorrow in your voice,
I see the tears you cry.
I long to ease your suffering
But I won’t even try.
For weeping cleans the open wound,
It heals the broken heart,
You must allow the tears to spill
To let the healing start.
So let the hole within your heart
Fill with the tears you’ve cried
And happiness will grow again
Where it seems to have died.
Psalm 31:9
Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes
grow weak with sorrow, my soul and body with grief.
