You’ve asked this of me once again,
Though I’ve failed in the past.Is this a test I must retake
Until I pass, at last?
I don’t know if it is the test
That is important now,
Or if it’s just learning to trust
That it matters somehow.
Whatever it might be, my Lord,
That brings me here again,
I’ll face the test and do my best
Knowing it’s in Your plan.
