Thank you, Lord, for the smile today.
I really needed it.And now that it is well in place,
I think I’ll let it sit.
Tomorrow brings new worries, Lord,
But none come until dawn.
So, for tonight, I’ll take the joy
And pray it lingers on.
Because in each day, no matter how dark or how long, there is a praise to be found. Sometimes our hearts are too weary or too frightened to voice them, but our souls cry out to God... and He is there.
