Everything changes, given time,
And time’s pace can’t be stayed,Though there are many things today
I wish could be delayed.
But time moves on relentlessly,
And with it comes great change.
To face each change with dignity
Is all we can arrange.
So give me faith to see the good,
The color of the leaf,
Instead of focusing my gaze
On the fall and its grief.
