The grey clouds cleared for just a bit,
The sun came shining out.
It lifted my heart up with joy
And I leapt up to shout!
When darkness lowers near the earth
To fill me with despair,
It takes but one small moment’s light
To lift my pain and care.
So how much more must my soul sing
When your love’s shining through?
My soul leaps with abundant joy
At one small glimpse of you!
