Where True Treasure Lies

The treasures that we store on earth
Seem precious in our day,
But in the long run they will fade
And fall into decay.
 
For there is nothing of this earth
That holds the same value
As the grace through which Heaven's King
Forever will see you.
 
The gold gets lost, your power fades,
The world forgets your name,
But His redemption and His grace
Will still be yours to claim.
 
Choose then the wealth heaven offers,
Secure it in your heart,
And you will find that it’s still there
When this life falls apart.
