Walking In Your Light

 

I stand in silence in the dusk,
The night is on its way.
Still, I hold no fear of darkness,
For You rule, either way.
 
You formed the universe we know,
And called forth dark and light.
To this day, it is still Your voice
That governs day and night.
 
Since I have called You Lord and King,
I do not walk in fear.
In dark or light, I will not quake,
For I know You are near.
 
Yours is the light that marks my path,
Whether by moon or sun,
And I will praise You for Your Light
Until my journey’s done.
