He never has forgotten us
Though we have ignored Him.
He gave us light in the darkness,
Hope, when all else seems grim.
He led us through the narrow gate,
Along the valley’s rim.
He is the truth, the way, the life.
My soul belongs to Him.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
