I
often feel that I’m alone
Among
the busy crowd,
But
I am not dismayed by this,
I am not vain or proud.
For
my eyes are not turned to man,
My
sight is fixed above
Upon
the one who redeemed me
And
washed me in His love.
It
is His notice that I seek,
His
grace for which I yearn,
And
it is toward him alone
That
I will always turn.
So
let the world overlook me
I
don’t answer man’s call,
For
I am servant to the Lord
Who’s
greater than them all.
Galatians
1:10
For
am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man?
If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
