Blessings Amid the Pain

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today was filled with little pains,

But there were blessings, too.

The troubles were born of the world,

The blessings came from You.

 

When I was feeling most annoyed

You sent me words of grace,

And, pouring joy into my heart,

You healed each painful place.

 

I know this world has ups and downs,

And days with too much pain,

But there will always be blessings

That make things bright again.

 

John 16:33

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
