A Gift of Love

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lord, I am out of thoughts tonight,

I am an empty well.

I tried to find the words to write,

But I can’t even spell.

 

So, I am going to let go

Say thank You for this day.

It might have been a busy one,

But peace still came my way.

 

I found it when I got the chance

To sit still for a while.

The little message You sent me

Reminded me to smile.

 

It wasn’t big, a simple thing,

But somehow I just knew

That simple message, filled with peace,

Was a love note from You.

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”
