Taking Time

 

Today has been a busy one,

But You’ve been on my mind.

I wanted to reach out to You,

But there was little time.

I know I praised You in my thoughts,

And held You in my heart,

But I had no time to thank You,

So now it’s time to start!

I lift my voice to You in praise,

Rejoicing in this song.

Thank You for being the promise

I’ve held to all along.
