My Hope's Source - Revised and Re-Posted

 

Dear Lord, please keep an eye on me,

These next days may be rough.
It’s going to take focus and strength;
I’m scared I’m not that tough.
But if You’ll keep an eye on me
Then I might just pull through.
And I, in turn, will make my goal
To keep my eyes on You .

For, Lord, if I've learned anything
In all my many years,
It's that, when I hold on to You,
I can let go my fears!
So I will ask it one more time,
For my comfort, of course,
Oh Lord, please keep Your eye on me,
Your love is my hope's source!
