It’s one thing to count your blessings,
When you look, they’re easy to see.But counting promises in faith
Is harder than it needs to be.
For promises of things to come
Cannot be spotted here and now,
But with a heart filled up with faith
Your soul can count them anyhow.
So look with eyes that see by faith
And count the promises to be,
Then lift your voice in songs of praise
To Him who promised faithfully.
