Unexpected Delight - Re-Posted

Joy appears when least expected

To brighten up the gloom;

Even the smallest of delights

Can lift a sense of doom.

Those little moments when the dark

Disappears in joy’s light

Are precious tokens of His love,

Reflecting God’s delight.

So, lift your heart when all seems lost,

Pray faithfully to Him,

And you will find that joy appears

Though life seems oh so grim.
