Time To Chill

I didn’t know how very much

I needed time to chill
To let the world go spinning past
While I simply stayed still.
 
The peace that recharges my soul
Gets lost in life’s fast pace,
And yet I find I need that time
In a still, quiet place.
 
So thank you for seeing the need
That I forget to fill
And giving me this precious time
To just be still and chill.
