The frozen days of wintertime
Are gone now from the airAnd with them they have taken back
The sense of cold despair.
But those days will return again,
No life is without pain.
Yet even that pain reminds us
We’ll be reborn again.
Although we face desolate days,
By His rebirth we know
We’ll wither until the day comes
We’re reborn, then we’ll grow.
So blossom while the air is warm
And savor the sweet days,
But don’t forget, when pain sweeps in,
To still rejoice and praise.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
