Waiting on the Lord

I know that this climb waits for me,

But now I have no strength.
So I will wait upon the Lord
For strength enough at length.
 
Oh Lord I want to make this climb,
As You expect me to,
But as yet I’m not strong enough
So I will wait on you.
 
Your word has offered me this hope
That I can count on You,
But I must wait upon Your time
If I’m to see it through.
 
So, Lord, I’ll wait upon Your will
And then I’ll make that climb.
For I have found You faithful, Lord.
I’ll wait upon Your time.
