Unique Perfection

You may not have a perfect smile,

Your face might be too round,
And photographs might show more flaws
Than any good you’ve found.
 
You might just talk a bit too loud,
Or sometimes play too rough,
And while you like to think you give
You feel it’s not enough.
 
You call them flaws, embarrassments
You see each gash and scar.
But they’re the unique perfections
That make you who you are.
 
Don’t hide yourself away in shame
