Sowing Seeds

The seeds that we plant here today

Will become our tomorrow
So be careful, be sure you plant
More happiness than sorrow.
 
Don’t plant the seeds of bitterness
Or grow the fruit of doubt,
For those are just the sort of things
It’s best to live without.
 
But plant instead the seeds of joy,
Faith and abundant life,
Then reap a harvest evermore
In which God’s love is rife.

Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.
