The world keeps tugging at my heart

With things I’d love to do,
But I have made my choice in life;
Lord, I will follow you.
 
So often I think wistfully
Of all that I’ve been through,
But I don’t let it hold me back;
Lord, I will follow you.
 
Although I have been tossed about
By every storm that blew,
I’ve kept my eyes upon your face;
Lord I will follow you.
 
So, lead me, Lord, and I will go,
I pledge my life anew.
To live in faith within your word;
Lord, I will follow you.

Deuteronomy 13:4

It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
