Within the misty morning’s dawn
The silence touched my heart.
I had so much that I should do,
But I just couldn’t start.
For through the mist that cloaked the world
The sun began to glow;
Its light, reflecting off the bay,
Slowly began to grow.
Then, as I watched the darkness fade,
A thought occurred to me
Your love’s the sun that clears the mist;
And I’m the brightening sea.
