Psalm 34:6-7

Psalm 34: 6-7
When I had nothing, desperate and defeated, I cried out to the Lord and he heard me,
bringing his miracle-deliverance when I needed it most. The angel of the Lord stooped down to listen as I prayed, encircling me, empowering me, and showing me how to escape. He will do this for everyone who fears God.

In the dark night of my great fear,
I called out in Your name.
From the dark valley I called to You.
You heard me, and You came.

Lord, You have heard me in my fear,
In my time of despair.
I called to You. You heard my voice
And You answered my prayer.

I know that I will face dark times,
For trouble marks each life,
But I have no doubt You’ll be there
Through all my days of strife.

For You keep watch upon each child
Who walks with faith in You,
And there’s no dark place we must walk
That You cannot see through.

So, I will praise You, Holy One,
With all my soul and heart.
You set Your name upon my path
Before You let me start.

Psalm 33:6-7

Psalm 33:6-7
All he had to do was speak by his Spirit command, and God created the heavenlies. Filled with galaxies and stars, the vast cosmos he wonderfully made.
His voice scooped out the seas. The ocean depths he poured into vast reservoirs.

Into the void He spoke a word
And everything was new.
The stars, the earth, mountains and seas
Burst swiftly into view.

Oh, wondrous is it to conceive
How such a thing could be,
But even more wondrous indeed
Such miracles to see.

And yet we see them every day
Without a second thought.
We pass them by unnoticing,
The wonders He has wrought.

The wind that rustles soft new leaves,
A bloom first opening,
The sunburst on the ocean waves,
A young bird on the wing.

So many miracles, and yet
We seldom understand
How glorious, this life we live,
Shaped by The Fathers hand.

Psalm 32:10-11

Psalm 32:10-11
So, my conclusion is this: Many are the sorrows and frustrations of those who don’t come clean with God. But when you trust in the Lord for forgiveness, his wrap-around love will surround you. So, celebrate the goodness of God! He shows this kindness to everyone who is his. Go ahead—shout for joy, all you upright ones who want to please him!

So broken is the world of man,
Earning the wage of sin,
That we often lose sight of Him
Who shaped the laws of men.

We think that it is our law
Which we’re called to obey,
Until the moment comes in life
When we are shown the way.

The truth is we belong to Him,
And He gave us His law.
The law by which we are to live
In peace, reverence and awe.

But we are broken, like this world,
And sin calls each one’s name.
Not one of us has lived on earth
Without knowing sin’s shame.

But such is His great love for us,
That, though we’ve walked in sin,
If we confess and change our path
We can be whole again.

Then through His Grace and by His love,
We can more clearly see
Whose laws we are meant to obey,
The laws that set us free.
