Standing Firm In You

 

My world has been shaken today,
And nothing I can do
Will mend or heal or change a thing.
Therefore, I stand in You.
 
So many blessings came my way,
And so much heartbreak, too.
I’ve wept and laughed and praised Your name.
Through all, I stand in You.
 
This world will never be easy,
But this I know is true,
Easy or hard, You are my Rock.
Firmly, I stand in You.
 
I thank You for the faith and hope
That always brings me through,
And for Your peace within the pain.
Oh Lord, I stand in You.
