Psalm 136:4-6

to him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever.

who by his understanding made the heavens, His love endures forever.

who spread out the earth upon the waters, His love endures forever.

Many are Your wonders, Oh Lord,

And Mighty are Your deeds.

The heavens answer Your commands,

Yet, still, You know my needs.

The Oceans roar upon Your word,

The lands tremble and shake.

Yet, You can hear my smallest thought

Without doubt or mistake.

You call the winds to sing to You,

Or bid the tempest, “Rise!”

But when the storms tear at my soul,

You clear the darkest skies.

Forever will Your love endure,

Your name is everywhere.

Lord, I will praise You all my days.

Your Glory is my prayer!

Psalm 135:13-14

 

Psalm 135:13-14

Your name, Lord, endures forever, your renown, Lord, through all generations. For the Lord will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants

Lord, even as I want to weep,

I call upon Your grace.

I pray that You will lead me through

Until I find my place.

I know that I am on a path,

But to where, I don’t know.

Yet since You have led me this far,

I doubt You’ll just let go.

You show compassion for the weak,

You shelter those in fear.

You mark the pathway for the lost,

And You are always near.

So, Lord, have mercy on Your child,

This lost and frightened lamb.

I need my Shepherd to lead me,

Help me find who I am.

Psalm 134:1-2

Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord.

I sing my praises to the Lord

Throughout the darkest night.

I lift my voice and I rejoice

In the shield of His might.

It is in the long watch of night

When fear hovers near by,

That I can hear His whispered voice

Above the world’s wild cry.

I know that He watches my days

As well as every night,

But, when I hear Him that clearly,

My heart knows such delight.
