I never used to see You, Lord,
As I walked through each day,Though I always knew You were there,
Each step along the way.
Yet as I prayed each day for help
And guidance in my life
I came to recognize Your hand
Helping me through the strife.
Then I began to recognize
That I could see Your face
In so many unexpected
Instances of grace.
So now I see You everywhere,
And, much to my delight,
I find I’m happier in life
When I have You in sight!
