A Day Of Rest - Re-Posted

 

Today I took some time off, Lord 

To smell a bloom or two. 

I know I left a lot undone 

That I needed to do, 

But I also needed the time 

To rest and to renew. 

Now, with a full and thankful heart, 

I lift this day to You.

Genesis 2:3

Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
