I caught you watching over me

As I ran through today.
You kept me safe on dark, wet roads

When trouble came my way.

You helped me think, before I spoke,
To keep Your words in mind.
I’m fairly certain You were there

When peace was hard to find. 

I’ve heard it said You keep close watch
On those who call Your name.
After this day You've brought me through,
Lord, I'll confirm that claim.
