The summer has not left us yet,
But autumn hovers near,Though little blossoms smile with joy
And offer me their cheer.
I know that autumn’s not far off,
I feel it coming on,
There’s change in the breath of the wind,
Some of its warmth is gone.
There will be more summer ahead,
Of that there is no doubt,
But every season must move on
And summer’s moving out.
I will not mourn the passing days,
But greet those still to be.
For each season brings its own joy,
And that’s enough for me.
Daniel 2:21
He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
