I wanted to cry out to You

But I could find no word.
To say what I hold in my heart,

Such words have not been heard.

I cannot speak the gratitude,
Or voice my lasting joy
For there are no words adequate

Which I can thus employ.

Oh Lord, I pray You understand 
The words that I now seek,
And know that I cry out to You
In words I cannot speak.
