From the bare and lifeless branches
Springs forth abundant joy,
And, dressing for the occasion,
Their best colors deploy.
As I sit, lost in my winter,
With all my branches bare,
I know soon my joy will flourish;
For Your spring’s in the air.
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
