Precarious Times-Re-posted

Lord, these are precarious times,

All that was right is wrong.

I want to keep my balance, Lord,
But I’m not always strong.

I find that I want to fight back,
Though Love is what You ask.
I’m just not sure I love enough
To live up to that task.

The balance is so difficult
And I’m so near the edge,
I don’t know if I should hold on
Or climb back off the ledge.

I don’t like what is happening,
Or what I have to do.
I only know my single hope
Of doing right is You.
