We have before us every day
What we will give most value to
Or which path we will take;
Do we seek good in every day
Or focus on the grim;
Will we let others run our race
Or set the pace for them?
Choose well, because each choice you make
Will follow you for years,
And you will bear each consequence
With happiness or tears.
I will not purposefully choose
To walk the paths of strife,
But I will leap with joyous heart
And make the choice of life!
Deuteronomy 30:19
This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.
