I try to live within the light
Though darkness pursues meAnd sometimes I have to fight hard
To be whom I should be.
The moon shines no light of its own,
But reflects the sun’s hue.
It lives in the sun’s influence
As I intend to do.
For You’re the Son that I reflect,
Though I am dimmed by sin,
And Your Light is the only one
That I choose to live in.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
